H2 Exchange is a fashion ecosystem created by H&M and Heron Preston, rooted in collaboration and fueled by community.

The project began with a public call to crowdsource upcycled materials, which became the foundation for a two-week mentorship program aimed at empowering the next generation of designers.

Using remnants of the past to shape the future of fashion, three selected mentees developed their craft alongside Heron Preston in a shared space. Over the course of the program, H2 Exchange evolved into a new mold for creativity—redefining how fashion is made, shared, and sustained.
